ENTO handles of design

Integration with architecture, material reduction, formal innovation.
With these objectives, Ento presents at the Fuorisalone three families of products that could not be more different from each other, united by the values ​​of the new Italian brand of handles. Trace, by Lorenzo Damiani, is a bold project, realized on a tubular profile, a semi-finished product that is not surprisingly used in the furniture industry, to underline the nature of the handle, halfway between object and furnishing accessory. A deformation in correspondence of the thumb invites the taking, a trace of the industrial process, a symbolic point of contact between human nature and technology. The use of the profile allows to have in addition to the handle for doors and windows, a series of handles of different lengths and thicknesses. Spoon is the elegant handle designed by Gordon Guillaumier, inspired by the iconic shape of the handle of cutlery, familiar objects, strongly linked to the idea of ​​living. The typical tapered and subtle shape is duplicated in a visual game without interruption and becomes three-dimensional, obtaining maximum functionality with the minimum amount of material. An original pawl and the handle complete a timeless collection. For the Robot line, Davide Diliberto has imagined starting from the simplest and most subtle form possible, an elle profile, which then modifies each part according to its main purpose. A protruding lip helps the palm to lower the handle, the thumb to push it, and so on. Some accessories are obtained by modifying and combining others, according to an idea of ​​rationalization of the molds and resources, but also to emphasize the concept of the handle as an integral element of the architectural system, a theme common to the three projects.
