A reinterpretation of Mari's Sedia 1, curated by A. Häberli
Enzo Mari published in 1974 Autoprogettazione, a milestone in contemporary design history. In the book, he called for the democratization of design and for people to make their own furniture. In line with the original idea of the project Sedia 1, delivery comes complete with a set of pre-cut pinewood boards, nails, and instructions on how to build the chair. The exhibition reinterprets Mari’s Sedia 1, curated by Alfredo Häberli - Swiss designer and mentor at the Institute and Master Studio.Activities schedule
