CRISTINA Rubinetterie Design Week 2018

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2018, CRISTINA Rubinetterie realizes in its showroom in via Pontaccio an exclusive exhibition, conceived and designed by architect Naomi Hasuike - Makio Hasuike & Co.

The concept comes from the idea to create a fresh, bright and expressively pure environment that visually and emotionally interprets the desire and the close relationship with water, the primary element with which we interface every day. A vision that is not romantic or naturalistic but contemporary and stimulating.

The installation is not temporary but it is designed to offer a new look to the spaces and to renew the exposure of the iconic Italy series and the new products of the Inox range. Volumes of transparent glass with a blue color stand out in the windows and inside the space. Simple geometries, apparently solid liquids and graphic surfaces that, thanks to the play of overlapping colored transparencies, accompany and relate with the products on display, leaving room for imagination.

Water becomes furniture, a dynamic and luminous surface that interacts with the visitor as he moves through space. To calibrate the overall impact, characterized by surfaces and finishes in stoneware and oak with warm and natural tones, some volumes and surfaces are made of smoked glass and matt lacquered in combination.

The CRISTINA set-up project for the Salone Internazionale del Bagno, atPad, is also born from this concept. 22 / Stand B23_27
