Surrealism and contemporary interior design: Dome Milano

By adopting a surrealistic, nature-inspired setting, Dome Milano Interior becomes home to eccentric patterns of colourful moths, creating boiseries that convey a vintage atmosphere with a contemporary spin.

The showroom will exhibit the new Arflex living products such as the Cradle series, that weaves together triangular combinations, bold shapes and a modern flare while remaining part of the classic Italian design tradition. The Cradle set is completed by a coffee table, outlined by a black metal structure and a marble surface. Amid the new models, the Strips sofa by Boeri will also be featured, to celebrate its 50-year anniversary. Strips will be displayed in both its living area and sleeping area variants.

The kitchen, the most sociable area of the house, will be set up with the Principia and Italia models by Arclinea. For Antonio Citterio’s design, Arclinea proposes a new version that combines two seemingly differing materials: wood and steel. The former, treated to give it a coarse finish, beautifully matches the latter which has also been given new nuances. A large wall, equipped to hold a wide variety of appliances, matches a kitchen island, transforming the room into a truly symposial space. Italia has been created to bring the features of a professional kitchen inside your home: the hygenic disposition of its modules and the durability of the steel are ideal for this purpose. To complete this, large working surfaces are installed, accompanied by a wide stove and large storage spaces.

B.Lux lighting will complete the display, presenting some of the company’s most prominent models that bring into the house its most essential element: light.

aLUZejos designs will also be featured in the showroom, Polished tiles (Az-zulaiy: Arabic for polished stone) which, thanks to the proud imprinting of Silvia Massa Studio, discover a new reason of being and a more contemporary functional use.

Porro will offer the living area solutions, for example their Load-it bookcase, made of wax-finished steel shelves adaptable to every style. Space for extensive storage will also be available thanks to Porro’s wardrobe designs.
